Overview

Promoter – High-Impact Consumer Engagement Specialist

 

Contract: 8-week Pilot - Evening Field Work, Thursday–Saturday, Potential Extension to Year-End 2026

Location: Toronto, ON – King West nightlife district + occasional private events

 

We’re looking for energetic, confident, Promoters/Brand Ambassadors to represent premium, reduced-risk nicotine products as part of a bold consumer engagement pilot. You’ll play a vital frontline role in building awareness and generating leads/driving sales activations for Legal Aged Nicotine Users.

 

This is not a typical promoter role, it’s about sparking curiosity, and helping adult smokers explore better alternatives in a regulated and high-impact way.

 

As the Promoter, you’ll be the face of the brand at clubs, lounges, and private events in the King West area (Downtown Toronto). You’ll engage directly with consumers through non-sales activities, focusing on meaningful conversations, product education, and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

 

Consumer Engagement

  • Create genuine, impactful connections that inspire consumer exploration and understanding.
  • Approach adult consumers using icebreakers to drive interest.
  • Foster curiosity and highlighting the evidence-based benefits of switching to alternative products.
  • Guide registration process and sales where applicable and permitted.
  • Maintain professionalism, compliance, and consumer experience standards at all touchpoints.
  • Collect feedback and insights to support program optimization.

 

Your Schedule

  • Wednesdays (10 AM – 4 PM): In-person team training and planning sessions.
  • Thursdays to Saturdays (5 PM – 11 PM): Field deployment at nightlife venues and events.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of proven experience in high-impact, customer-centric roles across retail, hospitality, event marketing, and direct consumer engagement strategies 
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, with multilingual abilities highly valued
  • Confidence in high-energy, nightlife, or event environments
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work within a performance-driven team
